Aimee Marie Penaloza Maldonado of Colorado Springs entered into rest June 27, 2018 at the Pikes Peak Hospice at Penrose Hospital. She was born September 24, 1983 in Canon City, Colorado to Annette and Leroy Meyer. She was 34 Years of age.
Aimee is survived by her husband Efren Penaloza of Colorado Springs, Colorado, mother, Annette Meyer of La Junta , Colorado, children Amara Campos of La Junta, Colorado, Eddie Maes of Rocky Ford, Colorado and Anthony Maes of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Sisters, Kay Garcia of Pueblo, Colorado, Cathy (Jorge) Reyes, of Lamar, 6 nephews and one niece.
Aimee is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Meyer and her twin brother Matthew Meyer.
She was a CNA and a good care taker. She enjoyed watching movies and eating popcorn and especially loved hanging out with her grandma.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta, Colorado, Friday 10:00 A.M.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
