Jerry Leroy Lucero of La Junta, Colorado and formerly of Rocky Ford, Colorado entered into rest May 31, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado.
He was born to Laura and Luis Lucero November 28, 1942 in Rocky Ford. Jerry was 75 years of age.
He is survived by his two daughters Michelle (Maynard) DeHerrera of Pueblo, Colorado, Stephanie (Ronnie Hernandez) Lucero of La Junta, Colorado, grandchildren Blaine DeHerrera, Brandon DeHerrera, Tevin Lucero-Hernandez, Cheyenne DeHerrera, Crispin DeHerrera, Kaylee Hernandez, Ashley Hernandez, Shyla Hernandez, Brandon Baca, Ryen Baca, great grandchildren, Althea Lucero Hernandez, Devinity Hernandez, Aleyziah Hernandez, Zaekiah Trujillo.
Jerry is preceded in death by parents Laura and Luis, Four Brothers; Junior,
Manuel, Luis and Willie, Sisters Rose and Connie, God Son Bob Sena.
Jerry was a Disc Jockey and a Radio Announcer for many years. He was an avid Denver Broncos Fan and he enjoyed listening to oldies music and talking on the phone. Jerry especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and socializing with friends and family.
