Obituary for Adela L Madrid
Adela L Madrid, of Denver and former resident Manzanola, Colorado passed away peacefully March 25, 2018 in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family.
Adela was born March 07, 1937 in Espinoza, Colorado, to Delfin and Regina Espinoza. She was 81 years of age.
She is preceeded in death by her husband Joe B Madrid, parents Delfin and Regina Espinoza, brothers Juan Espinoza, and Epifanio Espinoza.
She is survived by her Brother Delfino (Bernice) Espinoza, children; Benny "Archie" (Eva) Madrid, Leonard (Sandra) Madrid, Robert (Betty Jo) Madrid, Larry (Michelle) Madrid, Fred (Renee) Madrid, Johanna (Jonah) Olguin, grandchildren Tonya, Bernadine, Matthew, Erica, Andrea, Gabriel, Alecio, Hailey, Christopher, Jacob, Savannah, Nicholas, Allison, Noah, Isabella, great-grandchildren; Gavin, Xavier, Jordan, Ian, Elena, Olivia, Jet, Damien, and numerous other family and friends.
Adela loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She would spend countless hours with the grandchildren outside, teaching them to play baseball, reading books to them and attending their extracurricular activities. She was an avid Colorado Rockies Fan! She loved to cook and she made some of the best Tamales, Green Chile, and homemade bread to ever grace this earth. Most important, she taught her children and grandchildren the importance of family and what it meant to be loved unconditionally.
Adela will be missed tremendously. She left a legacy of the importance of family and love, and this will forever be engraved in the hearts of her children and grandchildren.
A 10:00 A.M. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the First Assembly Church of Fowler. I
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's association.
An inurnment will follow at the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
