Obituary for Anthony Allen Caleb “Pie" Nelson
Anthony Allen Caleb Nelson, also known as “Pie” of Alamosa, Colorado, and formally of Rocky Ford, Colorado entered into rest September 18, 2023, at his residence.
He was born March 21, 1990, in La Junta, Colorado. Anthony was 33 years of age.
He is survived by his parents Daniel and Carol Molina of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Sisters, Katrina Nelson of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Kim Marlow of Las Animas, Colorado, Danielle (Xavier Carrillo) Molina of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Tammy (Chris) Allard of Benson, Arizona, brothers, Victor Garcia, Nick Garcia, Zach Garcia, Izzy Vigil all of Pueblo, Colorado, grandfather, Harry H. Nelson of Rocky Ford. Aunts, Nina (Carlos) Salmeron of Rocky Ford, Josie (Charles) Jewell of Paducah, Kentucky. Uncles, Robert (Cassie) Nelson of Colorado Springs, Robert (Anna) Garcia of Rocky Ford, Tommy Molina of Las Animas, Ray Molina of South Dakota, Eugene (Kathy) Molina of South Dakota. Godparents Katherine & Mike Mora of Rocky Ford, Colorado, numerous nephews and nieces; Honi, Sophia, Mya, Majestie, Genesis, Isabella, P.J., Jacob, Micah, Junior, and several other nieces, nephews, numerous aunt’s uncles, cousins and friends. Close family friends, Joe Madrid and Luis Ramirez-Baca.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Mary E. Nelson, Julia Martin, Daniel F. Molina and uncles, Tony Nelson, David Molina, Rodney Joiner, aunts, Rosie Joiner, Esther Carlos, and his family pet Lilah,
Pie enjoyed working on cars including installing stereos, spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a Las Vegas Raiders Fan. He loved telling jokes, and he was very humorous. He enjoyed making people laugh. If you needed a shoulder to lean on, he was always there for you. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. A 2:00 P.M. Celebration of his life will be held October 15 at the Baggage Room at the Gobin’s Building in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
