Anthony E. Maes of Rocky Ford, Colorado, entered into eternal rest, September 8, 2023 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado.
He was born just outside of Manzanola, Colorado, September 2, 1953, to Rosendo & Aurora Maes. He was 70 years of age.
Anthony is survived by his significant other Lydia Powers, sons, Eddie Maes, and Raymond Abeyta, grandchildren, Edward A. Maes Jr., Anthony R. Maes, Julian Maes, Janelle Maes, Savana Maes, Azalea Maes, Gabriel Maes, sisters, Eleanor & Dorothy, brother, Bob, and numerous nieces and nephews. Anthony was the 15th of 16 children.
Anthony was preceded in death by his Parents: Rosendo & Aurora, sisters, Maria Amalia, Rosalina & Julia brothers, Daniel, Tomas, Gilberto, Juan, Emilio, Johnny, David "Chiefy", Manuel & Luis
Anthony enjoyed going for long car rides, walking around by the river, exploring and being adventurous. He was always taking care of his many friends. Anthony had many fruit trees and being outdoors meant a lot to him. He enjoyed helping Mrs. Powers at the El Capitan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
