Johnson-Romero Funeral Home (719) 384-8200 Ashley Dawn Vader, of Rocky Ford, CO entered into rest in Salina, Kansas July 10, 2014. She was born June 24, 1992 in Colorado Springs, CO to Sheri Vader and LeRoy Vader Sr. She was 22 years of age. Ashley is survived by her Mother, Sheri Vader of Rocky Ford, and Father, LeRoy Vader Sr. of Wichita, Kansas, Brother, LeRoy Jr. of Rocky Ford, Sister, Marisa Gonzales, her Teddy Bear, Claude. Grandparents, Tony and Loretta Trujillo of Rocky Ford, Effie Vader of Wichita, Kansas, Harlow "Alice" Vader of Mankato, Kansas, Doug "Vaudine" Titus of Houghton, Kansas. Great grandmother Annie LaBlanc of Rocky Ford, Colorado. Aunts and uncles Sharon Trujillo, June "Jeff" Everett, Charlotte "Karl" Martinez, Brenda Vader, Michelle "Jose" Chavez, Ray Titus, Jeff Vader, Randy Vader, Treva "Gayle" Shotts, and Long "Thao" Pham. Numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents, Caroline Segura, Albino LeBlanc, Jake and Ernestine Vader, and Lola Titus, Great Great-grandparents Al and Alma Hassler. Ashley was ornery and loved joking and pranking people but, she was always the first one to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She was always fun to be around. She had a special way with children and all kids loved her. She enjoyed working on cars and especially loved Mustangs. She even built her own Mustang Cobra. She also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and doing anything her brother LeRoy Jr. would do. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Community Presbyterian Church of Rocky Ford, followed by a reception at the Gobin Building in Rocky Ford, following services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
