Benjamin Edward "Benji" Garcia of La Junta, Colorado entered into rest January 23, 2021 at Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was born to Regina and Aurellio Garcia September 4, 1940 in Cokedale, Colorado. He was 80 years of age.
Benji is survived by his wife of 50 years, Irene Garcia of La Junta, Colorado, sisters, Margaret Abeyta of Denver, Colorado, Mable DeLeon of La Junta, Colorado, several nieces and nephews.,
He is preceded in death by son, “Baby” Benjamin Garcia Junior, parents, brothers, Joe and Albert Garcia, sister Maria Gonzales and Roseanne Aragon.
Benji enjoyed spending time with Irene’s family and especially spending time with his nephew Zayden. He worked at Safeway and continued to work into his 80’s.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and loved attending church. He was a true Denver Broncos fan and loved fishing.
