Obituary for Billy Anthony "Angel" Valerio

Billy Anthony Valerio “Angel” Of Pueblo, CO Departed, December 28, 2023 too young. He was born January 5, 1974 in La Junta, CO, to Christobal Domingo Valerio, Carmen Valerio who both proceeded him in death, along with family, Johnny, Chris, Susie, Linda, Angelica, Jeremy, Rachel, Amycus, Rosalia, Adeline, Matthew, Isaiah and more.

The man the myth the legend. There is not a word or piece of writing that can actually amount to who you were.

A Son, Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, God Father, Grandfather, Best Friend.

So many titles he holds. The greatest person anyone could ask for. He was a one of a kind person that never was scared to be different. He was truly himself and he encouraged others to do the same. Most people never met anyone like him. He had the most unique sense of style and would catch people’s attention everywhere he went. A stranger stopping and asking for a picture with him was normal. He listened and gave the best advice. He will always be important. His hair clients and friends in the hair industry will miss him. He made everyone feel beautiful. Everyone was blessed to have him. He was well respected and loved. He was strong, protective, supportive, smart, funny, kind, loving, interesting, wise, intuitive, creative, trustworthy, artistic, bold, and inspiring. He was spiritual, magical, and out of this world. He was everything. He had many accomplishments in his life. His career was beauty and hair, but he did it all. He made clothes, blankets, artwork in a variety of mediums, refinished furniture, upholstery, jewelry, accessories, photography, tattoos, piercings. He made decorations for all kinds of big events. He decorated the halls of the schools for his kids. He was a teacher in his own way. He would create feasts of food and display it beautifully. He was always learning and trying new things. He had a celebration and decorated for every holiday, especially Halloween. He kept up with all the trends and slangs. There was not much he couldn’t do. We all joked, danced, sang, shopped, played games, feasted, went for walks, went out and went on many adventures with him. He created many memories for everyone that will be cherished. He loved and took care of both of his parents and was a mom’s boy. He adored his mom and loved her dearly. He was a family man and the best father to his children. His favorite title was Dad. He took on a father role for many and loved each of them as well. He took care of his people. He made his family very proud and will be honored, loved, missed, and respected forever.

Billy is survived by Husband, Marty Garcia, siblings, Tony, Gina, Rose, Chris, Judy, Carmen, Donna, Robert, Joe, Christina, sons, Brandon Aragon, Xavier Encinias, daughters, Deverrea Valerio, Diamond (James) Mattmann, grandchildren Maalik, Mayvys, Fayt, Rosalia, Skylar, Adeline, best friend/mother of his kids Pita, and many godchildren, nephews, nieces, family and friends who will all miss him dearly.
