Johnson-Romero Funeral Home (719) 384-8200 Cheryl Anna January, of La Junta, CO entered into rest, September 5, 2014 in La Junta, CO. She was born April 24, 1969 in La Junta, CO to Delores and Johnny Hernandez. She was 45 years of age. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Reymundo January, Jr., mother, Delores Grajeda and step father; Frank Grajeda, brothers, Junior (Katy) Morales, George (Rayllene) Vigil, Sisters; Roseann (Fred) Chavez, Joey Rodriguez and Brenda Vigil. Several children, step children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Johnny Hernandez, grandmother, Rose Gallegos and aunt Gloria Sue Morales. Cheryl enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing card games, the bud, driving around on the back roads, and helping others. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Cheryl was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home. A 10:30 Rosary will be held Thursday followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Junta. Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
