Cheyenne Celena Powless of La Junta, Colorado, entered into rest, December 24, 2016 in Middletown, New York. She was born in La Junta, Colorado to Eldon Powless and Patricia Martinez, February 3, 1993. She was 23 years of age. She is survived by her two children, Isabella and Joseph Cruz. Siblings include her brothers, Phillip Waukau, Kenton King, Kaleb Powless, Ethan Powless, sisters, Bobbie Sanchez, Gabrielle Powless and Cameron Fisher. mother, Patricia Martinez and father, Eldon Powless, grandmother, Mary Martinez, grandfather, Eugene Powless, four nieces and five nephews, several aunts, uncles and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dan Mora, grandmother, Annette Powless, uncles, Daniel Martinez, Daniel Mora, Jr. and her aunt, Grace Martinez. Cheyenne enjoyed her whole family and especially loved spending time with her children. She loved family gatherings. She was very high-spirited and always in a good mood no matter what life brought to her. She was very funny and loved to make everyone laugh and she enjoyed dancing. Cheyenne will be greatly missed.
A Holy Rosary will be held, January 6, 2017 at 9:30 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe St. Patrick's Catholic Church in La Junta.
