Claudie Dean Martinez Jr., of La Junta, CO entered into rest on June 27, 2023, at his place of residence in La Junta, CO.

Claudie was born on November 5, 1968, in Garden City, KS to Margaret Ojeda of La Junta, CO and Claudie Dean Martinez Sr. of Garden City, KS. Claudie was 54 years of age.

Claudie left behind his Wife Lillian J. Martinez, Daughter Jessica (Omar) Vasquez, and 3 Granddaughters: Trinity Vasquez, Siara Vasquez, and Jailynn Vasquez all of La Junta, CO. His Mother Margaret Munoz (Nash Griego) of La Junta, CO. His Father Claudie Dean Martinez Sr. (Linda Campbell) of Garden City, KS. His Sister's Lucille (Cesar) Portillo of Garden City, KS, Sister Lisa Martinez of La Junta, CO, and his Brother Raymond Martinez of La Junta, CO. His Mother-In-Law Linda V. Sigala of Arnold, MO. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two2 Unborn Children, Stepdad henry Munoz, Father-In-Law Brigido "Bee" Martinez, Sister-In-Law Mary Martinez, Grandparents: Jerry (Beatrice) Ojeda, Aurora Archuleta, and Grandpa Martinez. Uncles: Bert Martinez, and Archie Martinez.

Claudie attended schools in Garden City, KS and La Junta Public schools. He married Lillian J. Martinez on September 25, 2009, after being together for 23 years. They shared a daughter Jessica L. Vasquez. He worked as a professional upholsterer in the family business "Munoz Upholstery". He took great pride in his work and learned all the tricks and trades. He loved helping his Mom and Step Dad in the shop. He also was a butcher at IBP and Excel for many years, while living in Garden City, KS and Dodge City, KS. After moving to La Junta, CO he worked at Green Bay Pickle Plant. He later started doing what he loved, construction work. He loved building and fixing whatever he got his hands on. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He worked at Vigil Construction and NUCO. He was proud of himself when he helped build a cement plant in Florence, CO. He also worked at several other companies. He enjoyed outdoors, long walks, looking at the stars and naming them. He loved listening to music and dancing. Claudie was a big Jokester he loved to laugh. He was a loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan. The most important thing in his life was when he had his daughter and his 3 granddaughters. Also, when he welcomed his son-in-law Omar into the family, he was the son he never had. He especially loved spending time with them, that was Claudie's True Love. Claudie died unexpectedly he will be missed and truly loved by his family.
