It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colleen Monique Torres, beloved daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and friend. Colleen left this world in Walsenburg, Colorado, and went to heaven on October 24, 2025, at the age of 34.
She was born on February 6, 1991, to Manuel Torres and Diana Montoya. Colleen was cherished by all who knew her for her sweetness, beauty, and loving spirit—affectionately known as our "Baby Doll."
Colleen's memory will live on in the hearts of her devoted family: her mother and father, her three sons—Marcus Padilla, Odin Griffith, and Wynter Griffith—her sister Janee Torres, grandparents Gilbert and Rose Montoya, nieces Nancy, Dasia, Araya, and Aalliegha, nephews Manuel, Armani, and Jeremiah, as well as numerous other family members and friends who will forever miss her warmth and kindness.
In heaven, Colleen is reunited with her precious daughter Leia Harmes, her twin boys, baby sister Amanda Jo Torres, grandparents Manuel & Rosella Torres, uncle Raymond Montoya, uncles David, Daniel, Dennis, and Michael Torres, aunts Doloris, Dorothy, and Diana, and many dearly departed loved ones from the Torres, Montoya, Aguirre, and Cordova families. Colleen’s legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all those blessed to have known her. Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Funeral Home
