Obituary for Dallas "Dal" Harrison Baker
Dallas “Dal” Harrison Baker, of La Junta, Colorado, passed away peacefully in his home with his wife by his side, Monday, March 8, 2021.
He was born to Virginia and Jethro Baker August 13, 1952 in North Carolina.
Dallas is survived by his wife, Theresa of 45 years, son, Jeffery Baker, daughter, Katherine Salisbury, daughter, Chelsea Baker, two grandchildren, and extended family. Dallas was a loving father, husband, grandfather and always had a great story to tell. He touched the hearts of those that knew him.
Dallas loved listening to and playing music. He also enjoyed cooking and reading. He was always there to help friends whatever they needed him.
A special thank you to the Arkansas Valley Hospice in La Junta for their loving care and support. Also thank you to Johnson-Romero Funeral Home for all of the arrangements.
A memorial will be held in his hometown of Emerald Isle, NC this summer.
