He was born to Elizabeth Armijo and Jose DeHerrera, May 3, 1995 in La Junta. Daniel was 26 years of age.
He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Armijo of Alamosa, Colorado, father, Jose DeHerrera, Jr. of Ordway, Colorado, sisters, Kimberly Beebe of Las Animas, Colorado, Sirena Pinkard of Florida, brothers, Ayden Ingraham of Ordway, Colorado, Joseph Lindt of Ordway, Colorado, Jordan Lindt of Ordway, Colorado, Michael Nesbit of Tennesee, step-father, David Beebe of Las Animas, Colorado, nephews, Gabriel and Eli Cruz of Las Animas, Colorado, aunts and uncles Alison and James Kasan of Fowler, Colorado, Gerald Harrell of Fowler, Colorado, Jack (Kendra) Harrell of Colorado City, Colorado, Jack (Kendra) Herrell of Colorado City, Colorado, Victora Andrade of Georgia, Blue DeHerrera of Ordway, Colorado, Rachel DeHerrera of Ordway, Colorado, grandfathers, Antonio (Marie) Baca of Corpus Christi, Texas, Edward Chavez of Ordway, Colorado, Girlfriend, several cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He is preceded in death by, great-grandmother, Agneda Baca, Grandmothers, Loretta Armijo and Debra Chavez, Cousin, Richard Kasan.
Daniel was also known by “Dinger” and “Chicken” and “Bug Boy” by his friends and family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and skateboarding. He especially loved his truck. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Daniel worked for Bear Towing and Midway Towing and was currently working at Arkansas Valley Organics in Sugar City, Colorado. He was a Jack of all trades. Daniel was a welder, he installed floor tiles and solar panels. He was passionate about everything he did. He was always tinkering with his truck he called his truck “Goatie”.
A 10:00 A.M. Graveside Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Fowler Cemetery in Fowler, Colorado. Pastor Darryl Johnson will be officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Funeral Home.
