Obituary for "Danny"
Daniel Thomas Pineda “Danny” of La Junta, Colorado, entered into rest October 10, 2021 at memorial hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born to Magdalena and Joe Pineda October 24, 1948 in La Junta, Colorado. He was 72 years of age.
Danny is survived by his wife Barbara Pineda, children, Lisa (Oscar) Hernandez, Michelle Garcia, Daniel Pineda, and Renee Pineda, twenty four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, grandchildren, Adam (Chantel) Pineda, Alec Torres, Armando Esme) Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez Andrew Hernandez, Ivan Pineda
Alex Nickel, P.J. Nickel, Ephriam Garcia, Jazel Garcia, Daniel Pineda III,
William Pineda, Anthony Rael, Jamon Ulloa, Jadian Ulloa, Jesse Crawford, Erica, Enissa, Valeria, Maholy, Camila, Addi, Jayla, Daniella, Alexia, great-great grandchildren, Ryanna Aubriella, Adam Jr. Amina, Azariah, Khalia, Esmia, Adrion,
Brother and sisters, Maxine Pineda, Annabell (Albert) Rocha, Sarah (Leo) Mills, Martha Jean (Frank) Lamb, Eddie (Rosie) Pineda, Anthony Madrigal.
He is preceded in death by his parents Magdalena and Joe Pineda, stepfather Tony Madrigal, brother Joe Camillo Pineda, sister-in-law, Rose Pineda, and brother-in-law, Frank lamb, nephew’s John Gonzales, Eddie Pineda, Son in-law Oscar Hernandez and his niece Emberlynn Rocha.
Danny was proud of serving his country in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He enjoyed watching TV, fishing, going to the lumberyard, traveling, building and fixing things. He liked his music mostly oldies, the Denver Broncos and other Colorado sports teams. He loved his beers and especially his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
