Deborah Ann Franczek 1970-2021

Deborah Ann Franczek passed away unexpectedly at her home in Rocky Ford, Colorado on December 25th, 2021. She was 51 years old. Deborah was born July 31,1970 to Mary Carter in Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her beloved life partner Alan Lee Prunty and her Uncle Nestor Elias Melendez.

Deborah is survived by her son, Christopher Franczek (Elaine) of La Junta, CO; her mother, Mary Carter of Amherst, OH; her aunt Claudette and cousin Courtney Melendez of Lorain, OH; cousin Heather Feliciano (Richard) and children; her sister Barbie and Pop of Chardon, OH; her separated husband Harold Franczek and his partner Natasha Jones, Eastlake, OH. In addition, she is survived by countless family members, friends and loved ones.

Deborah was also known by multiple nicknames including: Dorothy, Wander and Blondie. She held a few treasured positions in her life. Most recently she was a compassionate and hard-working cashier at Double J's Meats in Pueblo, CO. She enjoyed bartending for the Coca Cola 600/Bobcat's Arena in Charlotte, NC. She worked alongside her family members for years at Mr. Hero in Chardon, OH.

Deborah was a free spirit and a thrill seeker. She often enjoyed riding roller coasters and sharing other adventures with her son, Chris. She sought a life of adventure holding residences in multiple states including Ohio, North Carolina, Colorado and Florida. Her favorite pastime was cooking food. So, she could share it with others. The love has been passed down to her son, Chris. She often shared stories, loving memories of her best friends: Kathy Fisher, Carol Burning and Denise Leinweber. Deborah was an avid animal lover, she cherished many pets in her lifetime. We find comfort in knowing she will again see her beloved Ava Marley and Elvira Franczek who have crossed the rainbow bridge.

Her passing has caused a great feeling of loss and pain. That being said she would ask that we honor life with celebration and happy memories.

A private ceremony may be held at a later date.
