Delfa Rangel Marinelarena of La Junta, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord May 16, 2019, at the Sharmar Village Nursing Center in Pueblo, Colorado.
She was born to Sylvia and Domingo Rangel January 11, 1940, in La Junta, Colorado. Delfa was 79 years of age.
Delfa is survived by her children; Veronica, Anthony (Dee), Sarah, Ruben (Marci) and Alicia (Gary), Siblings Cruz, Betty, Sally, Stella and Robert, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvia and Domingo Rangel, brothers, George, Tony, Benny, Johnny and granddaughter Dalina, grandson, Mark and nephews Tino, George, Domingo, and, Denny.
Delfa was a loving and kind woman. She enjoyed music dancing and loved to cook and bake. Most of all she loved her family. She attended La junta Schools and was employed at many places including Meals on Wheels and Shauer Construction. Delfa was a volunteer for family and friends. Our mother, grandmother Nina, sister, aunt, and friend will be greatly Missed.
A 10:00 A.M. Rosary will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe St. Patrick’s Parish followed by a 10:30 Memorial Mass. Father Paul will be officiating.
