Donald Bruce Kenley, Sr. of Ordway, CO entered into rest, October 29, 2015. He was born, July 22, 1934 in La Junta, CO to Roy and Ethel M. Kenley. He was 81 years of age. He is survived by his children, Zina Smiley of Williamsburg, MO, Loretta (Darrell) Brewer of Ordway, CO, Roberta (Shawn) McDonough of Castle Rock, CO, Donald (Sharon) Kenley of Canon City, CO, Sandra (Garry) Lasley of La Junta, CO, Grandchildren; Jerry Damron, Brenda Spencer, Robert Damron, Toby Smith, Ariel Bauer, Kaci Smith, Chyenne Brewer, Josh Montano, Eli Montano, Emma McDonough C.J. Wallingford, Logan Coe, Bryon Wallingford, Shasta Kenley, Rockie Lasley, Jesse Lasley, Tyler Lasley, Jennifer Brewer, Jamie Byrne, Great-grandchildren; Kynlea Huskey, Klerra Huskey, Kayden Huskey, Kierah Spencer, Lylyan Damron, Cora Damron, Jaramyah Damron, Russell Bauer, Leanne Bauer, Jackson Bauer, Alana Grano, Kayla Lasley, Taunisha Lasley, Jarin Lasley, Aeden Williams, Riley Price, Cameron Byrne, Matthew Byrne, Mason Salmons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ethel Kenley, Wife, Zelda Kenley, 5 brothers and sister, Zelda Kenley. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to radio. He loved working with his hands, cabinetry, making matchstick barns and structures, singing, and campfires. He also loved spending time with family, especially the children. A graveside memorial service will be held, 2 P.M. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery in La Junta, CO with Military Honors performed by the Rocky Ford American Legion Post #8.
