Elfego "Lepo" Garcia, of La Junta, Colorado entered into rest, November 18, 2014 at the Penrose St. Frances Hospital, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born March 12, 1930 in La Junta, Colorado, to Simon and Vicenta Garcia. He was 84 years of age. Elfego is survived by his children, Greg Garcia of Trinidad, Colorado, Al Garcia of La Junta, Colorado, Fabian Garcia of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Kathy Garcia of Aurora, Colorado, Arlene Runyon of La Junta, Colorado, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 Sisters. Elfego was a quiet man and he loved Spending with his family the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday March 12, 2015 at the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home in La Junta. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
