Obituary for Eliseo Renteria Galvan
Eliseo Renteria Galvan, of Rocky Ford, CO, entered into rest April 17, 2014 at the Arkansas Valley Nursing Care Center in La Junta, CO. He was born, December 2, 1929 to Angel and Tomasa Galvan in Rocky Ford, CO. He was 84 years of age. Eliseo is survived by his wife, Mary Galvan of Rocky Ford, CO, sons; Luis (Conchita) Galvan, Joe Galvan and Eliseo Galvan, Jr., brother, Lalo Gonzales of La Junta, CO, sisters, Socorro Lopez of La Junta, Enriqueta Galvan of Salem, OR, Jacinta Gonzales of San Jose, CA, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Angel and Tomasa Galvan, brothers, Willie Galvan and Tiburcio (Shorty) Gonzales. Eliseo worked as a welder at the steel mill for many years. He enjoyed boxing, coin collecting and watching professional wrestling on TV. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Johnson-Romero Funeral Home in La Junta. Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
