She was born to Wendie Huston and David Muniz, July 26, 1996, in La Junta, Colorado. She was 29 years of age.
Evangeline is survived by her mother, Wendie Huston of Las Animas, Colorado; brother, Javier (Veronika) Muniz of La Junta, Colorado; sister, Briaunna Muniz of Las Animas, Colorado; children, Alonzo, Alan, Analicia, and Alexia Nieto-Muniz of La Junta, Colorado; nieces, Cayetana and Xilena Viescas-Muniz of La Junta; grandmother, Virlena (Don) Hogue of Las Animas; grandfathers, Willie Huston of Las Animas and Ramon Muniz of Rocky Ford, Colorado; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, David Muniz; grandmother, Evangelia Muniz; and uncle, Ramon Muniz.
Evangeline enjoyed fishing, Mandela coloring books, and Diamond art, and she loved the Las Vegas Raiders. She was a die-hard fan and took pride in supporting her team. Evangeline was very devoted to her children and cherished every family trip and gathering, always putting her loved ones first.
She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her creativity, and her passion for life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
