He was born in Fort Collins but the family moved to La Junta when he was very young.

Fermin grew up listening to Neil Diamond who was his favorite artist. He also loved Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) and the Carpenters. We have fond memories of listening to him sing to all his records. Memories we will treasure.

Fermin only went to the 7th grade but was very intelligent through reading. He was of strong faith, knowledge and wisdom. He was talented in drawing as well, a trait his sons also inherited. He also had throat cancer and overcame that illness.

A 10:30 Rosary Service will be held Wednesday October 4, 2017 followed by an 11:00 AM Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Junta, Colorado.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Funeral Home.
