Obituary for Francisco ���Kiko� Saenz
Francisco "Kiko" Saenz, of Rocky Ford, CO, entered into rest, February 1, 2014. He was born March 3, 1923 in Villa Aldama, Chihuahua to Fidel and Donacina Saenz. He was 90 years of age. Kiko is survived by his wife, Higinia Saenz of Rocky Ford, CO, children; Samuel Saenz of Anthony, NM, Mario (Martha) Saenz of Denver, CO, Kiko (Jennie) Saenz of Denver City, TX, Zack (Lorie) Saenz of Denver City, TX, Elizabeth (Arthur) Lucero of Trinidad, CO, Julie (Tommy) Hicks of Denver City, TX, Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, Fidel (Julia) Saenz of Juarez, Ramon (Antonia) Saenz of Juarez. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Donacina Saenz, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Kiko was a hard worker. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, mechanics and traveling to see family. He was very generous with his grandchildren and he loved them very much. He also enjoyed being a cowboy and taking care of his horses and cows. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, at the Rocky Ford Apostolic church on 543 South 4th St. followed by a graveside committal at the Rocky Ford Valley View Cemetery. A reception will be held at the American Legion following all services. Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
