Gabriela Estela Martinez “Gaby” of La Junta, Colorado, entered into rest November 3, 2020 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Juana and Pascual Martinez, May 2, 1948 in Mexico City, Mexico. She was 72 years of age.
Stella is survived by her daughters, Guadalupe (Jose) Ramirez
of Colorado Springs, Gabriela (William) Steinmetz of Barstow, California, brother, Gregory (Cruz) Martinez of Montclair, California, Sisters, Ana Martinez of Los Angeles, California, Guadalupe Martinez of Mexico City, Alicia Martinez of Mexico City.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Josephina Martinez, Gloria Martinez, Monica Martinez, parents, Pascual and Juana Dominguez.
She enjoyed gardening, dancing, listing to music and cooking. Gaby was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe St. Patrick’s Parish and she enjoyed spending time with her family,
especially her grandchildren.
A 10:00 A.M. Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in La Junta, Colorado. Father Henry Wertin will be officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the
Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
