Obituary for George Edward Elledge
George Edward Elledge entered into rest November 19, 2015 in his Las Animas home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Letha and Charlie Elledge August, 20, 1942 in Twin Oaks, California. He was 73 years of age. George is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue Elledge of Las Animas, Colorado. Children, Suzie Elledge of Phoenix, Arizona, Shannon Elledge of Wilburton, Oklahoma, Rene Elledge of Pueblo, Colorado, Letha Elledga of Wilburton, Oklahoma, Tammy Elledge of Las Animas, Colorado, Stephanie Elledge of Glendale, Arizona and Tonya Elledge of Wilburton, Oklahoma. Step-sons, Daniel (Rhonda) Franklin of Gilbert, Arizona and Scott Franklin of Pueblo, Colorado, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Linda Elledge and grandson, little Ricky Martinez, four brothers and one sister. He loved to fish and hunt. George and Sue also loved to go to cemeteries to see famous people's headstones. He loved history and especially loved his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed A memorial will be held in Carmel, California along the 17 mile drive. He always said "I ate all the fish so they might as well eat me"
