Harry Anthony "Tony" Nelson, 58, of Rocky Ford, CO entered into rest July 31, 2015 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO. He was born, March 14, 1957 in La Junta, CO to Harry H. and the late Mary Elba Nelson. Tony is survived by his Father, Harry H. Nelson (Mary) of Rocky Ford, CO, His beloved Wife, Tiffany Nelson of Rocky Ford, CO, Children: Amber (Joe) Kucera of Firestone, CO, Ashley (Gary) Cutrell of Swink, CO, Ayslin (Zane) Grinstead of Pueblo West, CO, Andie Nelson of Parker, CO, Allison (Brian) Navarrete of Rocky Ford, CO, Andrea Crafton of Rocky Ford, CO, Andrew Crafton, of Rocky Ford, CO, Cadence Nelson of Rocky Ford, CO, Parent in-laws Larry (Cheryl) Gaskill, of Ordway, CO. Grandchildren, Lucas Grinstead, Dylan Grinstead, Eric Navarrete, Celeste Nelson, Adrienne Nelson, Julien Navarrete. Sisters, Nina (Carlos) Salmeron, Carol (Daniel) Molina, and Brother Robert (Cassie) Nelson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Elba Nelson, grandparents Charles W. (Violet) Nelson, Cesario (Maria) Jimenez, along with numerous aunts and uncles One of Tony's greatest passions since the age of 9 was to play music. He was the lead guitarist and vocalist of "The Bad Times Band." He loved and adored his 6 grandchildren, working with his dad at the shop, fishing, working on cars and gardening. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the First Christian Church in Rocky Ford, CO. Pastor John Dell will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Ford Cemetery. Dinner immediately following at the William H. Gobin Building in Rocky Ford, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
