Jane E. Sandoval of Rocky Ford, Colorado entered into rest, surrounded by her loving family at the Crowley County Nursing Center in Ordway, Colorado, September 1, 2017.
She was born to Elena and Alfredo Martinez June 7, 1938, in Mora New Mexico. Jane was 79 years of age.
She is survived by her husband Donicio “Don” Sandoval, daughters, Judy (Larry) Padilla, Gina (Phillip) Griego, Gloria (Juan) Abeyta, Jeanette Padilla, son, Frederick (Clarence) Padilla, and sister, Georgia Marquez, Grandchildren; Vince Padilla, Mario (Kristi) Griego, Isaac (Valerie) Padilla, Derrick Padilla, Linette Padilla, Francesca (Victor) Hernandez, Breanna (EJ) Sanchez, Tony (Cassie) Martinez, Ida Valdez, Nick Blanco, Karlos Abeyta, Bernadine (Cisco) Perez, Misty (John) Bernadette (Dominque) Baca. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Elena and Alfredo Martinez, first husband Alfredo Padilla, brother Alfredo Martinez Jr. Sister Beatrice Martinez, grandsons, Daniel Padilla, Zachary Padilla and Adrian Padilla, Granddaughter Betty J. Griego. Gina Griego, Granddaughter's, Makayla and Abriana.
Jane enjoyed playing bingo, watching her novellas, gambling in the casinos, taking care of her pets Sugar and Mittens. She especially loved spending time with her family and she was loved by her husband Don, dearly with whom she found her happiness in life. She will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held, at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, Sept 6, 2017 followed by a 10:00 A.M. rosary and a 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass all services will be held at St Peter’s Catholic Church in Rocky Ford. Father Paul Ekeh will be officiating.
A committal will take place at the Rocky Ford Cemetery.
