July 22, 1942 - Nov. 21, 2016
Janice Elaine Louderback, 74, peacefully passed away on Nov. 21, 2016. Janice was born in Kansas City, on July 22, 1942. A few years later, her mother, Katherine (Kay) H. Bailey, and father, Leland (Bill) Bailey, moved to Dead Wood South Dakota. While in high school, Janice met her first husband, Lee Williamson, with whom she shared four beautiful children. Janice later married her second husband, Wayne Louderback, on Nov. 21, 1992. They resided in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Janice and Wayne spent many joyful years as members of the Rocky Ford VFW Post and the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. During the summer, they loved spending time in their garden and in the mountains. Wayne passed away a few ago. Janice savored the memories of their happiest moments. She looked to God and counted her blessings. She especially enjoyed summer butterflies and puppy smooches from her dog Buddy. Janice joined the community at Life Care Center in Pueblo two years ago and absolutely enjoyed the loving care and kindness she received from the amazing staff. Janice was described by the staff as a memorable, sweet angel who will be missed dearly.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents (Kay and Bill), two brothers (Ron and Bill Jr.), and her two husbands (Lee and Wayne). Janice is survived by her aunt Merle (Tootsie) White; her four children, Lea Williamson-Green (Patrick), Jerry Williamson (Kim), Joyce Williamson-Medina (Mark), and Gene Williamson (Laurie); six grandchildren; her sister Barbara Matthews (David); her sister Carolyn Voiske (Paulus); her brother Jerry Bailey (Laurie) and several nieces and nephews.
