Obituary for Jerry Dean Miner
Jerry Dean Miner of Olney Springs, Colorado entered into rest, due to cancer, April 27, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to Ralph and Helen Miner, January 31, 1946 in Norton, Kansas. He was 70 years of age.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Helen Miner, and his grandmother, Margaret Ewell.
He is survived by the Love of his life, Donna Miner, of Pueblo, CO, Son, Michael (Pam) Miner of Swink, CO, Deanna Miner of Olney Springs, CO, Jennifer (Lyle) Vandiver of Pueblo, CO, brother, Ron Miner of Pueblo, CO, Sisters; Charlene (Don) Gunter of Bangs, TX, Karen (Jim) Nunn of Brownwood, TX, grandchildren, Tara (John), Zach (Becca) Mandie (Zane), Ethan (Jonessa), Mariah (Lee), Benjamin, Brooke, Abigail, Addison. Brian (Esthonia), Barbara (Sam) and Brenden and 10 great grandchildren.
Jerry was a well known building contractor in the Arkansas Valley. He loved going fishing with family in Texas and going to chili cook offs.
He enjoyed tinkering with vehicles and he especially loved spending time with his family. Jerry was dearly loved by his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all.
A visitation will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 30, 2016 followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M. at the Faith Baptist Church in Fowler, CO.
