Obituary for John R. Herrera
John Herrera, of Rocky Ford, Colorado entered into rest June 1, 2020 at the Pioneer Nursing Care Center.
He was born October 2, 1958 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Sofia and Antonio Herrera. He is 61 years of age.
John is survived by his children Joseph Trujillo, Sheila (Michael Gonzales) Trujillo, Toni Trujillo, Richard Herrera, John (Jayann) Herrera, grandchildren, Davian, Darien, Leland, Amarah and Zaeliah, siblings, Samuel (Eleanor) Herrera, Gloria Lopez, Nappy (Connie Ornelas) Herrera, and sister in -law Louise Herrera He is preceded in death by his Parents Sofia and Antonio Herrera, Nick (Frieda) Herrera, Joe Herrera and sister Erlinda Garcia, granddaughter Acacia Gonzales.
John was a diehard Denver Broncos Fan. He loved fishing hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He also enjoyed drinking coffee early in the morning with his brother and sister. John really enjoyed listening to oldies, making jokes, eating noodles and drinking Mountian Dew.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado. His Brother Sam Herrera will be officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
