Obituary for Julie Ella Mae Zamora
Julie Ella Mae Zamora of Rocky Ford, Colorado, entered into rest, October 7, 2018 peacefully in her Rocky Ford home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lewis, Colorado, July 23, 1932 to Mattie and Walter Kramer.
She was 86, years of age.
Julie is survived by her children, Buddy (Helen) Curtis of Delta, Colorado, Larry (Joyce) Smith of Peyton, Colorado, James Smith of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Judy Toti of Denver, Colorado, Donna (Jed) Freidenberger of Rocky Ford, Colorado, brother, Kenneth Kramer, grandchildren, Julie Kaye, Joy, Jessi, Misty, Henry III, Jordan, Judi, Jacob and other grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Joseph Zamora, sisters, Sally Cartee, Mildred White, Goldie White, parents, Mattie and Walter Kramer.
Julie loved dogs. Puppies were her life. She was a dog breeder and the owner and operator of Quality Puppies in Rocky Ford, Colorado. She raised small breed puppies and there are so many people who have a puppy from Julie. She loved horses, gardening and belonged to an Iris Club at one time. Julie loved country music, she loved playing the guitar and singing. She even had records recorded. She loved rifles, archery and hunting. She shot an antelope with a bow and arrow. Julie enjoyed the RFD channel and watching Jeopardy, she loved the Denver Broncos and drinking red beer. She had a degree in early childhood education and she had a daycare at one time. She loved her family and she was a very strong woman.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 15, 2018 at the River of Life Fellowship Church 411 East 9th Street Ordway, CO 81063. Pastor Jeb Brown will be officiating.
