Obituary for Kenneth (Kenny) Philip Aragon
Kenneth (Kenny) Philip Aragon. 58, of Rocky Ford, Colorado, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, suddenly at his residence of Littleton, Colorado.
Kenny was born in La Junta, Colorado on February 23, 1958, a son of Felipe Alfonso (Phil) Aragon & Fedelina (Feddie) Barlow.
He attended schools in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
He worked as a Welder within the manufacturing field. He was a very diligent and loyal employee. He constantly went above and beyond, taking great pride in his work efforts.
Kenny placed high value on his family and loved ones. He will be remembered by his kind and generous heart, his great sense of humor and his unique & contagious laugh. He was an enthusiastic fan of sports, he particularly loved the Denver Broncos and was beyond excited that they won the Super Bowl. Kenny loved music, especially classic rock, a highlight for him was when he recently was able to attend the Black Sabbath "The End" Tour.
He is survived by is partner, Mona Gonzalez of Littleton, Colorado, Son, Pancho Aragon, husband of Marisa Aragon, of Littleton, Colorado, Son, Daniel Aragon of Lakewood, Colorado, mother, Fedelina (Feddie) Barlow of Thornton, Colorado and Step-mother, Ruby Aragon of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Sister, Lori Martinez, wife of David Martinez, of Thornton, Colorado, Sister, Lisa Baca, wife of Jay Baca, of Thornton, Colorado, Brother, Randy Aragon, husband of Janice Aragon, of Henderson, Colorado, Sister, Phyllis Aragon, wife of Rudy Martinez, of Thornton, Colorado. And many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Gianni and Giavanna (Gia) Aragon.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Felipe Alfonso (Phil) Aragon and Step-Father, Marvin Barlow.
A Rosary Service will be recited on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow both at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
