Linda is survived by her mother, Berlinda Salazar of Manzanola, CO, children; Dolly Salazar of La Junta, CO, Jennifer (Galindo) Canez of Las Vegas, NM, Robert (Ruby) Padilla of Pueblo, CO, Aaron (Ruth) Padilla of Manzanola, CO, grandchildren; Shylo Romero, Alex Romero, Michael (Christie Tafoya) Martinez, Dru Padilla, Dominic Martinez, Heaven Martinez, Robert Ramirez, Eric Padilla, Luis Ramirez, Mia Padilla, Laylah Padilla, Leilani Tafoya, great grandson, Marcelo Martinez, Brothers, James (CiCi) Salazar, William Salazar, sisters, Mildred Lobato, Rachel (Bruce) Collins, Diane (Larry) Padilla, Tammy Salazar, Virginia Salazar.Â
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Padilla, brother, Floyd Salazar and father, Jose Salazar.Â
Linda enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos. She also enjoyed playing darts and video games, shooting pool and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also very fond of her little dogs. Â
A rosary will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 followed by a funeral Service at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rocky Ford. Johnson-Romero Family Funeral is in charge of the arrangements. Online Condolences and shared memories can be made at johnsonromero.com.
