Lorri “Gorda” Jurado of La Junta, entered into rest, March 18, 2020 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, Colorado.
She was born to Cedalia and Albert Gonzales, April 17, 1962 in La Junta, Colorado. She was 57 years of age.
Lorri is Survived by her daughter, Lisa Jurado, son, Gabriel (Ariel) Jurado, grandchildren, Gabriel, Santiago and Lilliana all of La Junta, mother, Cedalia Gonzales of La Junta, Colorado, sister, Debbie Gonzalez-Dean of Garden City, Kansas, numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Gonzales, sister, Pauline “Linda” Gonzales, Grandparents, Victoria, Enrique Lopez, Margarita and Apalliano Gonzales,
Her grandchildren were her life. She loved giving people a hard time, feeding people and spending time with her family. She enjoyed singing and dancing. Lorri’s friends called her affectionally “Big Mamma”
A life celebration will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
