Obituary for Louise Bell
LOUISE M BELL, 87 of La Junta, CO passed away on Feb 02, 2014 at Fowler Nursing Home, in Fowler, CO. Louise was born in DeRidder, La on August 21, 1926 to James C and Nicey Cooley Mc Curley. She was married to Jewell (Buddy) Bell on Sept. 28, 1946, he preceded her in death on July 10, 1973. Louise attended school in DeRidder, she and Buddy moved to Westlake in 1969 where she purchased a beauty salon and worked as a beautician until retiring at age 70. Louise was a devout Christian that loved serving the Lord in so many ways. She loved traveling with family and friends including a trip to the Holy Land and a cruise to Mexico. Louise had a deep love of quilting, loved spending time with family and friends. She made a lasting impression on anyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Louise was a very loving and giving servant of the Lord. Louise will be truly missed by all but she is rejoicing in heaven now. Louise is survived by her daughters Edith (Ken) Miller of Colorado City, CO and Melba (Dale) Schultz of La Junta, CO ; grandchildren, Ginger (Kenneth) Williams, Cameo Fontenot (Timothy Watson) of Texas City, TX, Jon (Perla) Miller of San Antonio, TX, Lori (Chris) Johnson of Colorado City, CO, James (Stacey) Fontenot of Bossier City, LA, Chad (Tiffany) Fontenot of Lake Charles, LA; great grandchildren, Tre' Fontenot, Lauren Miller, Kaytlon Williams, Shayne Watson, Heaven Watson, Autumn Harris, Ashton Fontenot, Christian Fontenot, Sebastian Espinoza and Ryver Fontenot; brothers, O R Mc Curley of Westlake, La and R J Mc Curley of DeRidder, La along with many loving nieces and nephews.
