Manuel E. Raso Sr. of La Junta, Colorado entered into rest, January 20, 2017 in Ordway, Colorado, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Petra and Mariano Raso, January 1, 1939.
He is survived by his children, Manuel Raso Jr. of Colorado Spring, Colorado, Ruth Raso of La Junta, Colorado, Lilly Raso of La Junta, Colorado, Christopher (Michelle) Raso of Denver, Colorado, Andrew Raso Sr. of La Junta, Colorado, 13 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his, wife, Leela Raso, daughter, Mary Lou Aguilar (Raso), parents, Mariano Raso, Petra Raso (De Leon), brothers, Joe Raso, Timothy Raso, Cesario Raso, sisters, Sylvia Rangel (Raso), Manuela Raso, Dorothy Raso, Lupe Romero (Raso), Cecilia Solano (Raso), and Aurelia Romero (Raso).
Manuel was retired from the BNSF Santa Fe Railroad. He enjoy watching wrestling, the Denver Broncos and attending his great grandkids sporting events.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am Friday January 27th at Johnson-Romero Funeral home followed by a burial at Calvary Cemetery in La Junta, CO
