Obituary for Margaret Chavez
Margaret Chavez, of Pueblo, Colorado went to be with the Lord on
February 25, 2023.
She was born to John and Eva Briones in Trinidad, Colorado January 21, 1940, She was 83 years of age.
On June 18, 1960, she was united in marriage to Ben Chavez at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Trinidad, Colorado.
She moved to Pueblo in October of 2011.
Margaret worked at Mount San Rafael Hospital in Trinidad, Colorado where she retired from
the medical records department. She loved to talk on the phone and watch T.V.
She was a proud grandma and great grandma and loved to watch and hear all About her grandkids playing sports and accomplishments. Margaret was private with her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ben Chavez. Her Brothers; Richard Briones and John (Lydia) Briones. Brother and Sister-in-laws; Henry Chavez, Norman Chavez, Lena Duran, Virginia Lopez, and Lillian Tafoya.
Margaret is survived by her son Dave (Naomi) Chavez; grandchildren, Brandi (Nick) Fresquez, B. J. (Jen) Chavez and Chris Meehan, great-grandchildren, A lyssa Chavez, Quentin Chavez, Kyannah Fresquez, Marcial Meehan, Idasia Meehan; brother, Bob (Sue) Briones, brother-in-law, Oney Chavez; sisters-in-law Josephine (Joe)
Gutierrez and Sadie Montoya; numerous other family members.
we will he having a joint Memorial Mass for Ben and Margaret Chavez.
