She was born to Guadalupe and Delfina Duarte in Mexico, November 17, 1945.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 26 years, Tony Edward Salazar of Las Animas, Colorado, children, Susan Martinez of Cut Off, Louisiana, LeAnn (Keith) Ruck of Grand Junction, Colorado, Pricilla(Percy) Martinez of Pueblo, Colorado, Jesse Martinez of Lamar, Colorado, Valerie (Shelton) Martinez-Jordon of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Abram Martinez of Colorado Springs, Colorado, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Phenia Martinez, parents, Guadalupe and Delfina Duarte, brothers, Jimmy, and Trinidad Duarte.
Margaret, enjoyed her gospel music, gardening, going to church and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
