Maria “Mary” Florez, of Rocky Ford, Colorado entered into rest November 26, 2021, in her Rocky Ford home. She was born, July 12, 1930, in Bristol, Colorado to Margarita and Natividad Florez, she was 91 years of age.
Mary is survived by her cousin, Elizabeth “Liz Gonzales, of Rocky Ford, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Florencio Florez, brother, Avelino Florez, sisters, Lois Maynes, Pauline Maes and best friend Mary Salas.
Mary was an accountant at Bonfils Blood Bank in Denver for many years. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A 10:00 A.M. memorial service will be held, Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Hillcrest-Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
