Melvin was born to Paul and Sanida Martinez in Walsenburg, Colorado October 6, 1950. He was 68 Years of age.
Melvin is survived by his fiancée Rhonda Jiron of Pueblo, Colorado, Sister Lorretta Santos, aunts Carol Roybal and Margaret Salazar. Uncles Joseph Vigil and John Vigil and numerous other relatives.
He grew up in Walsenburg and graduated from John Mall High School. He served his nation in the United States Army where he served for 23 years. He was an avid collector of many things including cars. He will be greatly missed.
