Timothea Garcia,"Ms Timmie" of Rocky Ford. CO, peacefully entered into rest surrounded by her family, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, CO,. Timmie was born July 19, 1935 in Manzanola, CO. She was the daughter of Frank DeSales and Dolores (Lucero) Garcia. She was 79 years of age. She retired as an Attendance Officer for Rocky Ford School District after 36 years and then she worked as a substitute teacher for many years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. She enjoyed working in the yard, socializing with people, bingo, trips to Cripple Creek and traveling with her family members. She cherished her times with all her students over the years. She especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Gerald Garcia of Denver, CO; Darren (Shannon) Garcia of Rocky Ford, Sisters, Barbara Montoya of Rocky Ford, CO, Kathryn (Fred) Saiz of Boulder, CO. Timmie is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her Father Frank DeSales Garcia, Mother Dolores (Lucero) Garcia, brothers, Edward Garcia, Placido Garcia, and Simon Garcia; sisters Vidalia Cordova, Susie Espinoza, as well as numerous other siblings lost at childbirth or in infancy. A visitation will be held at 5:30 PM. Followed by a vigil and rosary at 6:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Father Paul Ekeh will be officiating. All services will be held at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO,
