Obituary for Paul Steven Muniz
Paul Steven Muniz of La Junta, Colorado, entered into rest Dec. 27, 2016. He was born Dec. 3, 1962 in La Junta, to Jose and Dora Muniz. He was 54 years of age.
Paul is survived by his sons, Steven Martinez, Tim (Tammi) Muniz, ex-wife, Catherine Martinez, grandchildren, Timothy Muniz, Tiffany Muniz, Sierra Muniz and Keegan Russell all of La Junta, sisters, Renee (Jose) Salas of Rocky Ford, Molly (Benny) Rangel of Pueblo, Shawntee (Ron) Guerrero of Pueblo, brother, Ricky Muniz of Pueblo.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Frances Muniz, brother, Joey Muniz and sister, Anna Martinez.
Paul enjoyed going for walks, talking to his friends and family and he loved watching the Broncos. He was also very fond of listening to his music. Paul served in the National Guard.
A rosary will be held, Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m.
