Phillip Ray Madrid of Rocky Ford, CO, entered into rest, June 27, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born on September 27, 1956 in Rocky Ford, CO, to Felipe and Jennie Madrid. He was 58 years of age. Phillip is survived by his mother, Jennie Madrid of Rocky Ford, CO, sisters, Edith (Mark McCoy) Madrid of Houston, TX, Sharon (Mike) Wadleigh of La Junta, CO, brother, Leonard (Janine) Madrid of Manhattan Beach, CA, nieces, La Nae (Bryce) Pittsenbarger of Fort Collins, CO, Morgan Wadleigh of La Junta, CO, Holly Madrid of Manhattan Beach, CA, nephews, Alex and Chris Madrid of Manhattan Beach, CA, Bryce Wadleigh of Dallas, TX, great nephew, Brogan Pittsenbarger of Fort Collins, CO. Phillip is preceded in death by his father Felipe Madrid and brother, Richard "Smokey" Madrid. Phillip enjoyed making people laugh. He will be greatly missed. Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
