Raymond L. Valencia “Wind Walker” entered into rest, January 8, 2017 in Las Animas, Colorado, surrounded by his family.
He was born, July 13, 1954 in Rocky Ford, Colorado, to Martin and Lucy Reil Valencia. He was 62 years of age. Raymond is survived by his Children, Chrissie (Mario) Jimenez of Swink, Colorado, Leốn Valencia of La Junta, Colorado, Brian (Beth) Valencia of La Junta, Colorado, Wife, Helen Valencia, grandchildren, D’Andre, Donavyn and Brooklyn Jimenez, Fur Baby Beamer Valencia, Draiden, Brian Jr., Bentley, Izabella Taylor and Ezekiel Valencia, sister in-law, Sharon Valencia, brothers, Floyd (Frances), Charlie and Eddie Valencia, sisters, Delores (Lawrence) Bustamante, Patricia (Pete) Romero, three God-children, Frank Mora, Robert Padilla and Frank Valencia, numerous nieces and nephews.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Valencia and Lucy Reil-Valencia , brother, Thomas and Raymond Valencia, Tomas (Little Grandma Petra Lena) Padilla.
Raymond enjoyed playing pool, gardening, landscaping, fishing and especially loved spending time with his kids. He was known to many as Wind Walker because he loved to walk. As per request by Raymond's family private services will be held at a later date.
