Obituary for Salvador Guerrero
Salvador Guerrero, 88, of Walsenburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 15, 2016
He joined his beloved parents, Sindulfo and Francis Guerrero, siblings; Helen Romero, Rubio Guerrero, Tony Guerrero, Lupe Guerrero, and Ted Guerrero who were preceded before him. He left this world in the same manner that he lived his life, with grace, kindness, gentleness and a strong faith in our Lord. He is survived by his loving faithful wife of 60 years, Jennie Guerrero, his children; Kathy (Ed) Martin, Ezekiel Guerrero, Isaac (Denise) Guerrero, Nathan (Kari) Guerrero, grandchildren; Jennifer (Gary) Lovett, Eunice (John) Pflaumer, Jonathan Guerrero, great grandchildren; Lisa and Anna Pflaumer, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Salvador proudly served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, was employed with the Rio Grande Railroad, and was owner of the El Burrito Café with his wife in Walsenburg. He also worked with the City of Walsenburg. He is more known for his business digging trees. He served his community as an ordained minister with the Emmanuel Apostolic Church.
The family would like to extend a personal thank you to all those who took care of Salvador. He will be missed by many who loved and knew him.
A visitation and evening service will be held, 6:00 P.M. Wednesday December 21, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held, Thursday Dec. 22, at 10:00 A.M. Both services will be held at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church of Walsenburg.
