Steve Matthew De Herrera, of Pueblo, Colorado, entered into rest, December 27, 2016 in Pueblo, Colorado, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Betty and Herby De Herrera, April 15, 1963 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was 53 years of age. Steve is survived by his parents, Betty and Herby De Herrera of Pueblo, Colorado, children, Thomas De Herrera, Kevin (Jessica) Martinez of Pueblo, Colorado, Steven (Janette) De Herrera of Pueblo, Colorado, Gabrielle De Herrera of Pueblo, Colorado, Samantha De Herrera of Pueblo, Colorado ,sister, Paula (Mark Lucero) De Herrera of Pueblo, Colorado, brother Bobby (Leslie Montoya) De Herrera of Pueblo, Colorado, grandchildren, Antonio, Autumn, Arturo, Olivia Bell, Stevie Anna, Leno, Dianna, and Isaiah. Nieces and nephews, Antoinette (Joe), Tashia (Charles), Nathaniel, Ashley (Vince), Jalen, Elicia, grandnephews,Tomas and Diego.
Steve is preceded in death by his brothers, Herby and Gary De Herrera, grandparents, Anna and Frutoso De Herrera, Veronico and Amalia Medina.
Steve was a mason by trade and he also did landscaping. He enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed bowling and he was a very generous, kind and caring person. Steve did not like taking photos. He was more quiet and reserved but he would be the first to share anything he had with anyone..
A Holy Rosery will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Saint Leanders Catholic Church in Pueblo, Colorado, followed by a Memorial Mass.
