Obituary for Tony Rangel
Anthony Edward Rangel, of La Junta, CO entered into rest, April 1, 2016 peacefully in his La Junta home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in La Junta, CO to Sylvia and Domingo Rangel, August 30, 1941. He was 74 years of age.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Pauline Rangel, sisters, Delfa Marinelarena, Cruz Rangel, Betty (Karl) Grassmick, Sally Ortega, Veronica Terrazas, Sarah Rangel, Stella (Federico) Figueroa, brothers, Robert (Anita) Rangel, Anthony (Dee) Rangel and uncle Manuel Raso. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Domingo Rangel, brothers; George Rangel, Benny Rangel, Johnny Rangel, nephews, Tino Ortega, George Rangel, Denny Rangel.
Tony enjoyed westerns, music, Elvis Presley, building benches, fishing, and especially loved being around his family. He also loved drinking coffee in the morning.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Upper Room Fellowship Church in La Junta, followed by a Committal Service at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of Johnson-Romero Funeral Home.
