Vickie Jean Wright of Walsenburg, Colorado, a beloved mother, grandmother, partner, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 19, 2026, in Walsenburg, Colorado.
Born in Billings, Montana, to Lucille and Roy Merriman on January 21, 1955, Vickie lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, reaching 71 years of age. She was cherished by her family and touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.
Vickie was a passionate bartender for over 20 years and shared a devoted 30 years with her loving husband Lawrence Cisneros, together they built a life filled with- great love and many special memories. She was a proud grandma to Felicite,
Nino, Lawrence, Aliana, Samuel, Adrianat, Randy, Mason and great grandson Angelo, but above all Vickies greatest pride was her son Sean. He was her heart.
Her spirit lives on in the amazing stories shared, the laughter remembered, her wise advice, and the love she gave so freely. She enjoyed traveling and loved tanning. One of her favorite things to do was playing poker, going to Cripple Creek, swimming, and being outside in nature, especially at the lakes and beaches. She loved Montana, where she lived as a child, and she especially loved her family.
Vickie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
