Obituary for Vincent R. Moreno
Vincent R. Moreno of La Junta, Colorado entered into rest, July 29, 2022, in his La Junta home surrounded by his wife and loving family.
He was born August 9, 1943, in Fort WIngate, New Mexico. He was 78 years of age.
Mr. Moreno is survived by his wife, Mary Moreno, Children, Vincent Moreno, Timothy Moreno and Shawn (Maria) Moreno, 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Vincent “Joey” Moreno and his parents Vicente Moreno and Henry and Isabel Whitehair.
He was married for 54 years marrying Mary Chavez March 9, 1968. He started his career as a teacher, teaching computers and later became a correctional officer. He enjoyed fishing, computers, hunting, working on cars and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He led a quiet life and will be missed by all those who knew him.
A private family service will be held.
