Walter “Władysław” Potrapeluk of Walsenburg, Colorado, entered into rest, October 12, 2017 in Pueblo, Colorado
at his family’s home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Turowka, Poland, September 8, 1936.
He was 81 years of age.
His current partner Anna Mae Cruz survives him.
He is also survived by his previous wife Zofia and
their 2 daughters Hanna Potrapeluk and Ewa (Joe) Czastkiewicz, 2 grandchildren Ola and Veronica
and great- grandchildren Mateusz and Tadeusz.
Walter was a man of many trades. He came to Walsenburg, Colorado, from Denver, Colorado in 1999.
He had a sheep farm on Hwy 69 that he had to
give up because of illness.
He loved having visitors, making choke cherry wine
and had many friends in Walsenburg.
He will be greatly missed.
A 1:00 P.M. Rosary will be held October 17, 2017 Followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Walsenburg, followed by a Committal Service at the North Veta Cemetery.
